ABOUT THE FOUNDER

My name is Aggie, and before creating ODDA I spent more than 13 years working directly with older people and their families.

I worked in local care homes and, in more recent years, as a private carer supporting our local families in their own homes. I've supported people one-to-one, listened to families facing difficult decisions, and seen first-hand how challenging the care journey can be.

ODDA did not begin as a technology idea. It began with a simple question:

What if families could spot changes earlier — before a crisis happens?

Too often, support only increases after something has gone wrong: a fall, a hospital admission, or a sudden decline in health.

But the warning signs often appear much earlier through changes in routine, mobility, sleep, activity, and behavior.

ODDA helps families understand what is happening between visits, identify meaningful changes sooner, and make better decisions about future care.

For me, this is personal.

Throughout my career, I have heard the same wish from older people time and time again:

"I just want to stay in my own home."

Home means comfort, dignity, routine, memories, and independence. ODDA exists to help protect that independence for as long as it remains safe and appropriate.

Technology should never replace human care. Used properly, it can support better conversations, earlier decisions, and greater peace of mind.
